“PEDALS” PROGRAM
The CAM “Pedals” Program is in conjunction with Fremont Police Department to empower those who are without a driver’s license or a means of transportation other than walking.
This joint venture is dedicated to empowering individuals with a mode of transportation that can benefit the individual, meet their individual lifestyles, and provide a means of transportation needed for job security and success. Together, by utilizing impounded bikes, collected throughout the year, our organizations can network, build relationship, build others, safeguard our community, and propel other to potential success!

Eligibility Requirements:
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be 18 years old
- Must not have any other means of transportation
- Must agree to purchase a lock or locking system
- Must not sell bike or exchange it for goods – if recipient no longer wants this bike they must return it to CAM
- Must agree to doing 1-4 Hours of Community Service with CAM
WARNING: If bike is returned to police department or picked up by authorities the recipients will be dropped from the “Pedals” Program and legal ramification could be incurred.
